I'm writing to you because I'm in trouble again. I fell in love with one of my classmates. His name is Dick, he's handsome, funny, sensitive, and just as retarded as I am! We've been dating for almost a week, and we both feel we know all our freak habits and nasty secrets. But the problem is we want to get married in a few days. We need to be together. I want to marry him NOW, although it's pretty obvious my parents wouldn't allow me to get married 'cause I'm 15. But I'll be 16 soon! And you're my lovely big sister, I need you to help me! What should I do? Should I obey my heart? Or should I fall into the depths of loneliness?

Acá subo unos demos de Evanescence que sinceramente no tengo idea en qué compilado irían incluídos... sólo sé que son viejos y no están en los EP's anteriores... "Lies" es la misma canción que la del cd Origin, pero es una versión diferente, en mi opinión, una mejor. "Goodnight" es una balada muy corta y macabra y "Forever gone, forever you" es un demo de la banda que, si se fijan bien, musicalmente es muy parecido al tema bien conocido "Bring me to life" del album Fallen.

Evanescence - Origin [2000]

Origin. Muchos dicen que es el primer álbum de la banda pero noo! No lo es. Es el tercer trabajo de la banda, después del primer EP y el Sound Asleep EP. Este disco es considerado por Amy con un disco de demos. Incluye Imaginary y Whisper, dos temas que luego serían completamente regrabados y cambiados para ser incluídos en el primer album, "Fallen". My Immortal también está incluída, y es la misma que la que incluyeron en Fallen, sólo que para el album la modificaron casi imperceptiblemente agregándole algunos instrumentos. Esta versión de la canción, aún la incluída en Fallen, es considerada un simple demo por la banda, por eso fue regrabada al lanzar el single de la canción, la cual se llamó My Immortal (band version), y fue incluída como un hidden track en la reedición de Fallen.

La calidad de sonido sigue dejando que desear. Pero aún así, es un muy buen disco. Hay dos tracks que luego fueron sacados de la lista. Temas altamente recomendados: Field of innocence y Anywhere (track 08).
